The Wellington Hospital Acute Referrals

This App will enable doctors to quickly refer their patients directly from their phone for urgent treatment to the Acute Admissions Unit (AAU) at The Wellington Hospital. The AAU is a 10 bed state-of-the-art facility with access to key imaging services (such as CT and MRI) and to theatres.

The AAU is supported 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by a rota of general physicians, general surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, gynaecologists and radiologists. The hospital has backup from cardiologists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, and urologists. There is also support from a resident medical officer and ICU registrar.
